Uttlesford District Council staff raise cash for Children in Need

WASTE service staff at Uttlesford District Council held a raffle which raised over 300 for Children in Need.

Many local businesses donated gifts – which included salon vouchers, a bath spa, chocolates and gifts, champagne – and the raffle was drawn by chief executive John Mitchell.

Sarah Burridge, who helped organised the staff raffle alongside colleagues Caroline Brown, Kelly Hammond, Carly St Ledger and Catherine Auckland, said: “We would like to thank all the local businesses for their generous prize donations to our Children in Need staff prize draw. We were overwhelmed by the support they have shown.”

The following businesses all donated:

• Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne
