Recycling your Christmas tree this weekend


SKIPS and refuse vehicles will be made available for residents who wish to recycle their real Christmas trees and green waste.

The service will be available at the following locations:

Saturday January 8

● Stansted – Lower Street car park – 9am-3pm

● Thaxted – Margaret Street car park – 9am-3pm

Sunday January 9

● Ashdon – junction of Walden Road and Fallowden – 10.45am-11.45am

● Chrishall – near The Red Cow pub – 10.20am-11.20am

● Clavering – between the village and Clavering Mills – 11.30am-1pm

● Great Chesterford – Meadow Road – 2.30pm-4pm

● Hadstock – village green – 12noon-1pm

● Littlebury – Recreation Ground car park – 9am-10am

● Manuden – Carters Hill – 1.45pm-2.45pm

Newport – station car park – 3pm-4pm

● Radwinter – Recreation Ground car park – 9am-10.30am

The recycling centre for household waste is located in Thaxted Road in Saffron Walden.
