ORGANISERS of the Waldstock Festival have presented a cheque for �1,000 to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridge.

Amy Cuffe, fundraising manager of Arthur Rank said: “This donation will ensure that we are able to continue vital services such as day therapy and Hospice at Home which provides specialist care to those with life limiting illnesses.”

The highly successful music festival, held at The Fighting Cocks Public House on June 30 and July 1, broke all records for funds raised in its previous two years and a further total of �3,400 has been divided among Bears (formerly Medics), Macmillan Nurses, Carver Barracks Injured soldiers Fund and Saffron Walden Day Centre at Jubilee Gardens.
