A WEIGHT-loss counsellor from Saffron Walden is thrilled to have completed a professional qualification while she helps people in the town lose weight.
Sharon Webb, LighterLife counsellor for the area, has just completed her BTEC Professional Diploma in Operating a Weight Management Consultancy.
She said: "It was hard work juggling studying with running my own business and working full-time. With obesity cases hitting epidemic levels, and experts estimating that by 2010, just two years short of the Olympic Games, a staggering one in four people will be obese, I wanted to commit to ongoing learning in order to help prevent one of the most serious threats to national health."
