A NEWCOMER is rounding off the Summer Season of Organ Recitals at Saffron Walden St Mary's on Saturday (September 5).
Accomplished organist Peter Crompton, the director of music at the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook, will be playing a varied programme of music, from Bach to Whitlock.
He has played the organ in the Royal Albert Hall for the British Legion Festival of Remembrance each year since 2004, and given recitals at many cathedrals.
Tickets for the recital, which will be the last in the summer season, are priced at �6 on the door. The big screen will be in operation.
