Then, on Thursday, May 19, Patsy and her husband Clive went to Buckingham Palace for the Royal Garden Party as the Queen’s guests.

Patsy said: “They were both wonderful occasions. I was able to take 10 guests to The Guildhall and afterwards one of my friends put on a party for me. The garden party was a great occasion. There were queues for everything but we saw a great many members of the royal family, including The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cambridge.”
