Youngsters from primary schools in Rickling, Newport and Clavering designed posters to promote a sponsored teddy bear parachute jump taking place on June 6.

Vicar of St Mary's Church in Newport, Revd Dr Barbara Sherlock, said: "We had a fantastic response from the children and about 200 entries. They were all really creative with lots of different colours, designs and materials used.

"It was very difficult to pick a winner, but eventually we decided on posters by Phoebe Snow from Newport and Holly Howard form Rickling. The runners-up were Amelia Donker from Clavering and Sam Rolfe from Newport."
