A woman was taken to hospital with a serious head injury after falling in Saffron Walden High Street last night.
A BASICS doctor, an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene just after 8pm. An East Anglian Air Ambulance landed on Saffron Walden Common at about 9pm to help assist the casualty.
The woman, who is in her 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance with serious head injuries.
