A young girl was struck by a car in Saffron Walden last night (Monday, November 23).
The incident took place along Highfields, near the common, at 3.47pm and an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer attended the scene.
The girl suffered a knee injury and minor abrasions, and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
