Don’t criticise!

IT SEEMS a little unfair to criticise Tesco over plastic bags when, as anybody visiting the store will know, they alone provide a box, often augmented by a large steel cage , specifically to recycle plastic bags regardless of source. Take a close look

IT SEEMS a little unfair to criticise Tesco over plastic bags when, as anybody visiting the store will know, they alone provide a box, often augmented by a large steel 'cage', specifically to recycle plastic bags regardless of source.

Take a close look at the bollards protecting the walkway from the car park and the seats outside Waitrose and what are they made of? Recycled plastic bags of course.

This has been going on, without fanfare, for a considerable length of time and contributes to the fact that bags are seldom, if ever, seen blowing about.

Great pity some of the self- publicist recyclers don't give credit where credit is due.
