Saffron Walden Town return to Essex Senior League action with a home match against Tower Hamlets at Catons Lane on Saturday.
And the Bloods will be looking to bounce back from double disappointment in cup competitions over the course of the past week.
They welcomed May & Baker for an FA Vase tie last weekend, but fell behind on 27 minutes as Reece Tranter netted.
Craig Hall doubled the lead early in the second half and it was 3-0 on 65 minutes as Dan Gilchrist netted.
Charlie Portway hit back for Stuart Wardley’s men with 12 minutes left, but it was only a consolation as Tom Harvey completed a 4-1 win for Bakers late on.
Walden hosted Hullbridge Sports in the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy on Tuesday and took an early lead through Portway.
The visitors struck either side of the break to go 2-1 up, but Greg Strong levelled, only for Hullbridge to net again for a 3-2 victory.
