Star of the show was Josh Down, scooping the awards for best young player and second XI Player of the Year as well as receiving a trophy for the 160 he made playing for the Sunday XI.

He also received a young player of the year award for Herts and Essex League Division Three at the league dinner held shortly afterwards.

Clubman of the year was received by Graham Sneath and the outstanding performance of the year went to James Reid for figures of 6-32, including the first six wickets of the innings against St. Margarets. He also scooped the first XI player of the year trophy.

In off field developments, Dunmow third XI have been admitted to the Herts and Essex League Division Seven.

Home games will be played at local grounds, with Lindsell, Eastons and Canfield all likely venues for some of the games.
