Saffron Walden Hockey Club’s ladies 1sts fell to a first defeat of the East Ladies League 1N season going down 3-2 at home to Blueharts.

Saturday’s result leaves the Saffron side second in the table behind Norwich City.

Walden’s men’s 1sts drew 1-1 at Long Sutton to extend their unbeaten East Men’s League Prem B run to five games.
