Archant

Saffron Walden Judo Club’s Jasmine Anderson enjoyed a silver lining at her first British Championships in Sheffield.

The 13-year-old competed in the pre-cadet (under-15) age group at the English Institute of Sport, against talented judoka from across the UK.

And Anderson performed superbly to come through four rounds of action and secure a podium finish.

This latest success followed on from her gold medal at the Bekers Open in Gent, Belgium, where she was representing the Eastern Area and Anderson will be joining up with the Regional England Development squad in January 2018.
