A CHOICE four miles or eight miles was on the cards for the Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners at the Leisure 107.4fm trail on Sunday.
The event was arranged by Leisure fm presenter and GFDR men’s captain, Howard Jardine.
Starting from the Dutch Nursery in Coggershall, the routes followed footpaths and lanes to the north of the town.

The sunny conditions, and the prospect of tea and cakes at the finish, attracted over 60 competitors. Roger Gooding won in 1hr 12s.
For GFDR, John Hardy was fastest in 1hr 27min 6s, just ahead of Jackie Adams, Kath Birks, Paul Holman and Lee Prowse who finished together in 1h 27min 27s.

Gavin Foster and Sue Harrington completed the course in 1hr 35min 24s. In the four-mile race, Joe Dilworth and Sharon White finished in 39min 3s, followed by Jo Kings in 49min 42s and Rob Kings in 51min 40s.
