ALEX Goode scored a late penalty for Saracens as they toppled Aviva Premiership leaders Leicester Tigers by the narrowest of victory margins on Saturday.

The Duxford-born fly half scored all of the Londoners points in a battling 15-14 win as he converted five penalties – three in the first half and two in the second.

Goode has been in top form for his club this season, having notched 119 points in 16 appearances, and slotted the winning kick between the posts with just five minutes left.

His opposite number Billy Twelvetrees then missed a penalty chance to take the win in the dying seconds and Saracens celebrated a victory that keeps them in second place going into a tough home fixture against Newcastle on March 27.
