Saffron Walden PSG U10 Girls Blues ended their season with a home game against Linton Aztecs.

The previous meeting between the two had been very close and with both teams missing players, another tight contest was expected.

PSG started quietly but soon gained confidence, putting pressure on the Linton defence. And when the visitors did break forward, Sophie and Violet held firm in defence.

Ahead of them the tireless midfield of Holly, Claudia, Franzi and Grace continued to win the ball and push it through to Emily up front.

She was rewarded with a goal before half-time, as was Holly and Claudia.

The second half saw positional changes for PSG and a growth in confidence for Linton.

But Sophie was able to score again for PSG and she also hit the crossbar with another attempt.
