BRAGGING rights belong to the Dynamos after a four-goal thrashing of their local rivals Saffron Crocus on Saturday.

Goals from Samuel Coleman-Raine, Milton Mendes, Sebastion Tarnowski and Charlie Brockwell secured the three points but there was bad news on the injury front.

Star striker Mendes limped off the pitch after winning and scoring a penalty for the Dynamo’s second and will now be a serious doubt for this weekend’s fixture against Haverhill.

After making five changes it was the home side that came flying out of the blocks and within five minutes Dominic Parry crossed left-footed for Coleman-Raine to head home.

Five minutes later, the lead was doubled by Mendes and Dynamos continued to dominate, taking the game to their town rivals.

It wasn’t long before the game was virtually decided. Tarnowski finished off a penetrating move and bagged the third. But, moments later, he also went down injured after twisting his leg and is also a doubt for Saturday.

With both Dynamo strikers out of the picture, their replacements Wajer Arkadiusz and Foldi Zolt did their best to hold the scoreline at three-nil.

And, to their credit, Crocus came back at the home side in the last 15 minutes and where unlucky not to grab a goal, but a well marshalled defence and some solid handling from keeper Keith Hill kept them at bay.

Crocus created more chances but could not convert them and fittingly it was man of the match Brockwell who struck a scorcher from 15 yards out to finish the scoring.

Next: Dynamos travel to Haverhill Athletic this Saturday for a 2pm kick off.
