DYNAMOS secured a comfortable 4-0 win at their near-neighbours on Saturday, to complete their fourth league double of the season.

Daniel Rouse, Aaron Ridgewell, Harry Bond and Matthew Rowlandson all weighed in with goals but it was the performance of striker Milton Mendes that deserved the most credit.

The tall forward man hit the bar twice and deserved a goal himself as he ran riot and lead the line. Having said that manager Carl Rudd praised the whole team for their efforts.

“Credit to Milton who put in some great work including hitting the bar twice and that deserved a goal,” he said. “But it was a good performance from the whole team, that also includes Matthew Comstive in the middle who started a lot of our excellent moves.”

Dynamos made four changes to the side that lost narrowly to Sawston last weekend as Rouse, Rowlandson and Bond returned as did Dominic Parry.

They took the game to the home side straight away and where rewarded on 12 minutes as Rouse forced the ball home after a terrific shot from Rowlandson hit the bar.

Despite playing well Dynamos found the home side, who are bottom of the league, a lot harder to break down then they did in the 9-0 home win earlier in the season.

It took until the 32nd minute for the visitors to score again, as a well deserved goal came for hard working full back Ridgewell. He picked the ball up just in side the Newport half as he rode numerous challenges before cracking an unstoppable shot..

In the second half Dynamos kept up the pressure up as they played some great one-touch football and Bond raced down the right to hammer in a superb third.

Dynamos finished the scoring when Rowlandson took the ball down the right and cut in to drill home from inside the box.

Next: Dynamos travel to Castle Camps on Saturday. Kick off 12.30pm
