Abacus wrapped up the league title with a game to spare after a convincing 5-1 win against Manuden United Reserves.

They took there time to settle but soon found there rhythm with Dave Williams picking out Charlie Norris who coolly rounded the keeper before tapping home.

Andy Eldred then set up Norris for his second.

A defensive mishap allowed Manuden to pull one back, but the game was wrapped up in the last 10 minutes with three quick fire goals. Andy Eldred finished off Peter Flack’s long pass, and then Norris squared the ball for Steve Leys who made it four.

The games last goal came from the prolific forward pairing with Leys now providing when unselfishly laying the ball off for Norris who completed his hat-trick. Leys and Norris finished the season on 54 goals between them.
