Saffron Walden PSG Blues under-12s battled to a 2-1 win over Bottisham.

Including three under-11s in their line-up, PSG embraced the challenge and played some excellent football.

They kept their shape well and took the lead with an early goal, only for Bottisham to level before the break.

An inspiring half-time team-talk from their manager helped Blues regain the upper hand in the second half, after both sides created chanecs.

A controlled shot from Uma put PSG back in front and they held on for a deserved win, with only two players playing the same position the whole game.

Goalkeeper Charlotte played her first match as PSG showed superb strength as a team covering and supporting each other to move into the next round of the league cup against ICA Sports Youth.
