STRIKER Matt Glass continued his superb scoring streak this season and helped net a valuable point for United as they look to consolidate their position in the Kershaw Premier League.

Glass now has 16 goals in as many games but his solitary strike was not enough for his side to take all three points in an even game at The Lawn on Saturday.

United scored first near to the end of the first half but after missing a number of chances to kill off a spirited Wratting side the visitors managed an equaliser midway through the second period.

With the scoreline at nil-nil however the home side fluffed a golden opportunity when they secured a penalty due to a handball in the area. Mark Johnston stepped up but saw his scuffed effort saved.

United remain in ninth place in the league and are also on the hunt for a new assistant manager. Anyone who is interested can contact Toby Dawson on 07795 977 844.
