Bar Hill Colts 2 Spartak 78 4

SPARTAK secured their 13th win of the season at Bar Hill Colts.

They took the lead when Mans Thornberg side-footed following good work by Gabe McBride and Daniel Bunting.

Bar Hill equalised shortly afterwards but McBride found the target with a slight deflection to make it 2-1 to Spartak at half time.

The visitors extended their lead when Andy Amaro was on hand to score from close range following a well taken free kick from Charlie Cox. McBride then scored again with a well-placed shot into the corner before Bar Hill grabbed a late consolation.

Manuden 3 Barmond United 1

A CLOSE first half sprang into life with two goals in five minutes just before half time. Barmond took the lead but Manuden hit back through Henry Kingston’s sharp finish.

Howlett and Fernandes went close for the hosts after the break before Matt Stump drove home to put them into the lead. The scoring was completed with the goal of the game, Nick Phillips ending a good team move with a rifled effort into the far corner of the goal.

Isleham United Youth 0 Walden Wanderers 2

WANDERERS consolidated their mid-table position with a hard-earned victory at Isleham last Sunday.

An evenly contested match was decided by two Tom Burke strikes in the 55th and 74th minutes. All 15 players on the day played their part in a very well disciplined performance.
