Saffron Striders members enjoyed a successful weekend of running over various distances across the East region.
John Selby recorded a new personal best of one hour 55 minutes at the Great Eastern half marathon, where Tina Hamilton also came home in under two hours.
Michael Bradbury finished his first 13.1-mile event just a few minutes later, while Fiona Halls won age group gold at the Tiptree 10 mile race after finishing in one hour nine minutes.
Husband Neil set a new best of 1:16 in testing conditions, while club captain Alan Jones took on the Hatfield House half marathon and won his age group gold in a personal best of just over one hour 35 minutes.
Saffron Striders meet outside the Lord Butler Fitness and Leisure Centre every Tuesday evening at 7.45pm for an 8pm start. All abilities welcomed.
