Saffron Seals have had plenty to cheer at the Essex Age Group Championships, held over three weekends recently.

The long course event is held in 50 metre pools at Basildon Sporting Village and the London Aquatic Centre and a squad of 39 took part in 85 individual disciplines.

Despite a high standard of competition, Seals combined to record 57 personal best times.

And three club swimmers achieved regional qualifying times, which will see Ciara McAuley, George Rogers and Elliot Skingley go on to compete in the East Region Championships over the two May Bank Holiday weekends.
