Five members of WaldenTRI headed over to the prestigious Cambridge Olympic DistanceTriathlon last weekend.

The 1,500m swim was in a local lake and proved to be the only calm moment in an otherwise blustery day.

Nethertheless, Simon Page had a superb race emerging from the swim in sixth place and overtaking several competitors on a strong 40km cycle leg before a determined 10km run saw him finishing third in his age group and a very impressive 11th overall.

Chloe Brown had a superb race achieving a very impressive second place in her age group.

Results:

11th - Simon Page 2hrs 18mins 24secs

25th - Mark Coutts 2hrs 23mins 43ecs

56th - Rob Gould 2hrs 32mins 28secs

124th - Philippa Reed 3hrs 4mins 37secs

127th - Chloe Brown 3hrs 11mins 43secs
