White Horse are whitewashed!

LEAGUE action in week six of the Saffron Walden Summer Dart League produced some high scoring results in both divisions.

In division one the league leaders, Saffron Walden FC, chalked up an 8-1 away win over the Victory. There were maximum 180s for Rod Parrish and Ryan Searle, who also recorded a fourteen dart leg, for the football club.

Tony Course hit a maximum 180 for the Rose & Crown, Ashdon, as they produced a 9-0 whitewash result at the expense of the White Horse in Newport. The Queens Head B Littlebury had a 7-2 win at home to the Crocus Tavern.

Division two leaders, the Fleur de Lys provided the second 9-0 result of the night with an away win over the Newport Club. Mark Ormrod recorded a 108 out shot and Mike Sargent had a 106 out shot, both for the Fleur de Lys.

The Fighting Cocks were 8-1 winners at home to the Axe A Saffron Walden. The Queens Head A Littlebury produced a 7-2 away win over the Axe B.
