A DAY of motoring thrills awaits visitors to the Essex County Car and Motorcycle Show at Cressing Temple next month.
Motoring enthusiasts and fun-seeking families will be able to experience the sights, sounds and thrills of cars and motorcycles from the past 100 years.
Car fans will be treated to a vast array of more than 200 vintage, classic and modern vehicles as they celebrate 50 years of the iconic E-Type Jaguar.
Families can enjoy a broad range of interactive events and activities, including the Downhome Jazz Band, driving challenges on an F1 racing simulator and special performances by 1940’s themed dancers.
Refreshments including strawberries and cream and a hog roast will be on offer and there will be an assortment of auto-jumble stalls.
A parade of a selection of vintage, classic and modern cars will round off the day’s festivities in a demonstration of unique sight and sounds.
Cllr Jeremy Lucas, cabinet member for environment and culture said: “The Essex County Car and Motorcycle Show is one of the highlights of my year.
“It’s brimming with all the things a motor show should have and promises to be a great day out for the whole family.”
Cressing Temple events and booking officer Della Nixon added: “We have an exceptional line-up this year”.
