HALLOWEEN promises tricks and treats for the whole family at Saffron Screen this weekend.

Get dressed up early and join Ghostbusters (PG) for a ghoulish Sunday afternoon, starts at 3pm. This entertaining 1980s classic was nominated for two Oscars and will have you laughing out loud.

Join a team of ghost-hunting parapsychologists (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis) as they battle to rid New York City of the paranormal. Come dressed to frighten, as a prize will be awarded for the best costume.

Sunday’s evening performance is The Illusionist (PG), a beautifully crafted animated film set in fairytale Edinburgh.

Set during the bygone era of steam trains, a struggling illusionist meets a young lady who thinks he is a real magician.

Screening at 8pm on both Sunday and Monday evening, this film is a real treat.

Sunday October 31 is also the deadline for returning any completed Rotary Film Quiz sheets.

Quizzes can be purchased from Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre or Saffron Screen for �1 and all money raised goes toward the Going Digital campaign.

Completed form should be returned to the Tourist Information Centre, Saffron Walden Library, Saffron Screen or by post.

Prize for the winning entry is six free cinema tickets and a film trivia book.

Plus, all returned quizzes which include a valid e-mail address will receive a voucher for a free hot drink at any Saffron Screen film.
