IMPERIAL war museum Duxford will pay host to a special car show on Sunday, May 5.

These beautifully cared-for cars are a must-see for car enthusiasts of all ages. Car owners travel from across the UK to attend the Spring Car Show and will be delighted to chat about their four-wheeled pride and joy.

If you like vehicles on an even bigger scale, take a look at our tank demonstrations in the tank arena to the rear of Land Warfare from 2pm. Why not take a ride in tank too? Rides run from 2.30pm and are an unforgettable experience for all fans of powerful military vehicles.

With a wide range of spectacular cars on display, the Spring Car Show is a fantastic day out for all the family.

The whole museum is open to explore as usual. Don’t miss Historic Duxford, our new exhibition and historic site trail which tells the story of the men and women who served at RAF Duxford from 1918 to 1961. Housed in the original 1930s Watch Office, the exhibition explores RAF Duxford’s fascinating history and brings it to life through sound and film, personal objects and fun interactives.

Follow the heritage trail across the historic site to hear veterans’ memories of working in the exact spot on which you’ll be standing. Pick up a family activity sheet from the exhibition to complete as you follow the trail.
