Miss Disco, the ‘new’ band featuring the seven members who split from Uncle Funk & The Boogie Wonderband earlier this year, has recorded a cover of Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas as their Christmas card for fans.

The video has hundreds of photos from 16 years’ worth of Christmas gigs, and includes lots of shots of the audience in their fancy dress outfits. They are confirmed to play at Chesterfords Community Centre, Saffron Walden, on December 23 next year - in 2021.

Saffron Walden resident Dave Clarke, the band's bass player, started the Christmas parties in 2004. He said: “Our Christmas gigs have always been about starting the festive season with a big bang. Sadly, we can’t do that this year for all the obvious reasons, but next year’s party will be a big celebration worth waiting for.”
