Saffron Walden Museum hosts a 'Bronze and Bubbles' sculptural workshop in January.
Participants can join a workshop on either Friday January 14 between 6pm and 8.30pm, or Tuesday January 25 from 10am to 12.30pm.
Each workshop will be led by Charlotte Pratt, a lecturer in fine art, and the Learning and Outreach Officer at Saffron Walden Museum.
Charlotte will explain the lost wax process and guide participants to sculpt a wax model. This will be cast in bronze by Walnut Works and Butley Mills foundry in Suffolk.
All guidance, equipment and materials are included in the £69 cost, including the cost of casting in bronze, postage between the museum and foundry plus return delivery.
The price also includes a glass of fizz and light refreshments.
To purchase a ticket see https://saffron-walden-museum.arttickets.org.uk or go to the museum's shop.
Each workshop is limited to eight spaces. Additional dates and times may be added if demand is high.
