Polar Express

CHRISTMAS is coming and the Saffron Walden Reporter is linking with the town’s Westgate store to get 12 lucky local families into a real festive mood.

Westgate is giving away 12 family tickets for the special Christmas screening of the hit seasonal animated film Polar Express (pictured) at Saffron Screen at 3pm on Tuesday December 21.

The tickets – for two adults and two children – are up for grabs in our free-to-enter competition.

It promises to be a really festive occasion. Polar Express (U)* features the voice of Tom Hanks in the story of a doubting young boy who takes a magical train ride to the North Pole to see Santa.

Santa will also be making an appearance at Saffron Screen on December 21, with gifts for every child, including something from the Westgate ‘elves’.

Store manager Abigail Warren said: “It’s our first Christmas in Saffron Walden and we want to make it a special time.

“In addition to giving 12 local families the chance to see a wonderful seasonal film free of charge, watch out for announcements of more festive fun at Westgate in the build-up to Christmas.”

The store was heavily involved in Saffron Walden’s festive lights switch-on on Tuesday and will also be staging a special VIP Night at the town’s late-night shopping event on December 10.

To stand a chance of winning one of 12 family tickets for Polar Express at Saffron Screen on December 21, all you have to do is answer the following question:

Which Hollywood A-list film star lends his voice to the animated film Polar Express?

Send your answer on a postcard to: Saffron Walden Reporter, 54 High Street, Saffron Walden, Essex CB11 3AA or e-mail:
