CLASSIC cars and performance bikes will be among the vehicles on display at this year’s Saffron Walden Motor Show on Sunday August 22.

The event, which is being held on Saffron Walden Common between 10am and 4pm, is expected to attract more than 400 exhibitors.

Organiser Roger Abbott, from the Jolly Roger Car Club, said: “It should be a fantastic day with plenty of classic, vintage and performance vehicles on display, including cars, trucks and bikes. We’ve held a number of similar events on the common before and they’ve always been a great success.

“This year all the money raised from the event is being donated to Help for Heroes which does great work for wounded soldiers.”

A tombola, refreshments and a raffle will be available. Entry for the public and exhibitors is free. All exhibits must arrive before 11am. For more information call Mr Abbott on 07871 197915 or email
