UNCLE Funk will return to Saffron Walden’s Town Hall on December 23 for their annual Christmas Disco Party - with this year’s theme being festive ‘Pimps and Ho Ho Hoes’.

Uncle Funk’s lead singer Simonella Funkenfurta said: “Our set is so disgustingly funky this year that we want everyone looking super-70s, super-sexy, super-cool...Superfly!”

Famous across the UK for their huge afros, outrageous costumes and stunning live performances, Uncle Funk’s now-traditional Christmas party will see the UK’s number one disco band deliver their biggest and brightest show to date.

After making it snow inside The Town Hall last year, Simonella warned: “Bring your shades this time – we’ve got a ridiculous light show being installed!”

Every one of Uncle Funk’s previous gigs at The Town Hall has sold-out well in advance, so fans are once again being advised to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointment – especially as half of this year’s tickets were snapped-up after the band announced the gig on their Facebook page several weeks ago.

Tickets cost £15 and are available from the Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre (01799 524002) and online from Uncle Funk’s website unclefunk.co.uk
