HAVERHILL Arts Centre is holding two evenings for acoustic guitar lovers this autumn.

Bob Brozman makes aan appearance on Thursday September 30 at 8pm while Thomas Leeb hits the stage on Sunday October 24, also at 8pm.

American Bob Brozman was voted Best World Guitarist in Guitar Player’s Magazine in 2010 and lauded by Acoustic Guitar as `one of the world`s most respected slide guitarists’.

He is a master of slide, fingerstyle, and percussive guitar and draws on global influences incorporating blues, jazz, Gypsy swing, calypso, sega (music from Mauritius and the Seychelles), and even hip-hop and ska beats.

Thomas Leeb, who comes from Klagenfurt in Austria, has been hailed as the ‘world’s greatest unknown guitarist’. His repertoire consists of self-penned numbers, traditional tunes and occasional covers of Guns ‘n’ Roses, Bjork and Bob Marley songs which are punctuated in his inimitable style by hitting the guitar body with the heel of his hand and fingers.

Tickets are £10 or £12 on the night for Bob Brozman and £10 for Thomas Leeb.
