The second Elsenham Music Festival in the grounds of Elsenham Golf Club will raise money for the St Clare Hospice.

Headlining will be the dance band, Pharaoh and the Beats, pictured, led by singer Leanne Pharaoh, daughter of Colin Pharaoh, the club’s owner. Her sister Emma is backing singer with Gareth Hall on lead guitar. Also in the line up are the St Clare band who will be playing their own original material, The Buena Vista Disney Club band who play Disney songs and solo guitarist, Adam Ferretti from Colchester.

There will be refreshments including a hog roast, barbecue and licensed bar. Last year’s opening festival attracted some 300 people and this year the event will donate half of its profits to the hospice, which is currently running its Silver Anniversary Appeal to raise money to set up a children’s bereavement service. The event will run from 4pm until late with camping available to festival goers from £5. Tickets are £12 in advance, £15 on the door and £7.50 for club members from 01279 812865 or www.elsenhamgolfandleisure.co.uk or email info@elsenhamgolfandleisure.co.uk.
