Fireworks displays run from Saturday, November 2 through to Wednesday, November 6
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2
Saffron Walden: Fireworks on the Common. Organised by Saffron Walden Round Table. Gates, 6pm. Display, 7pm. Bucket collections for charity. Food stalls and funfair. Free entry. See: www.swrt.org/fireworks.
Dunmow: The Round Table's event on the recreation ground. Display by Dynamic Fireworks, synchronised to modern music. Music from DJ Pete Sparkes, charity bar, food and sweet stalls. Gates, 6.15pm, bonfire 6.45pm, display 7.15pm.
Tickets: www.dunmowfireworks.co.uk with early bird offer, adults £6, children under 16, £4. On the gate, £7 adults, £5 for under 16s. Family ticket (two adults and two children) £20.
Great Bardfield: Great Bardfield playing field, Bendlowes Road. Hog roast, barbecue, licensed bar. Gates, 5.30pm, display 7pm. Tickets, £5, child £2. Under 3s free, Child ticket for ages three to 15.
One child free with every adult ticket bought before October 30, from Great Bardfield Co-op, The Bell Inn, Between the Lines Bookshop or on the gate. All profits for the pavilion fund and local organisations. No pets or sparklers.
Chelmsford: Admirals Park, Chelmsford. Gates 4pm. Live music, fairground rides, food and drink. Organised by Chelmsford Round Table.
Gates, 5pm. live music from 6.30pm. Display 7.30pm. Bars. No alcohol or sparklers to be taken in. The path into the park will be closed for exiting until 8.15pm to allow for the fireworks safety team to clear the site. The path from Beeches Road and Waterhouse Lane will be closed at 7.15 pm to clear the launch site before the display starts. Tickets, £7.50 adults, £5, children 3-16 from www.chelmsfordfireworks.com.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3
Clavering: Jubilee Field. Gates 4pm. No entry after 5.30pm. Display 6pm. Bonfire, bar, barbecue, glow items for the children. Tickets, £5 advance, £6 on gate, children £2.50 advance, £4 on gate, family £13 advance, £15 on the gate, from The Bull, Langley or Poppy's Tearooms, Clavering. (Limited number of advance tickets).

Chelmsford: Chelmsford City Racecourse. Gates, 5pm, display 6.30pm, amusements, food, drink. Free parking. Tickets on the gate, £7 adults, £3 children, under 3s free. No sparklers.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5
Newport: Frambury Lane Sports Field, CB11 3PU. Gates 6.30pm. DJ, barbecue, hog roast, hot and cold drinks. Display 7.30pm.
Advance tickets, £5 adult, £4, children four-12. (ages up to 3, free) from Saffron Walden Tourist Information 01799 524002, plus Nisa and pubs in Newport. On the gate, £6/£5. No alcohol on site.
Cambridge: Free display on Midsummer Common of Pains Fireworks. Bonfire, food stalls and fairground rides 6pm-10pm. Display 7pm, followed by lighting the bonfire. Compered by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire presenter, Jeremy Sallis.
Extra Park and Ride services. Pains have presented the display at the Cowes Royal Regatta since 1862. They have won the L'International Des Feux in Montreal and presented displays for the coronations of King Edward V11 in 1902, King George V in 1911, the wedding of Charles and Diana and the opening of Shakespeare's Globe.
Braintree: Rugby Club. Funfair, bonfire, barbecue, hot drinks, outside bar, glow toys, sweets and DJ Roadshow.
Gates, 5.30pm, bonfire 7.45pm, display 8pm. Entry, adult £6, children 12 and under £4. Parking through Beckers Green Road.
WEDNESDAY, November 6
Leaden Roding: Rodings Primary School, Dunmow Rd, Leaden Roding, Dunmow CM6 1PZ. Garnetts hot dogs available, licensed bar, hot chocolate, glow sticks.
Gates, 6pm. Display, 7pm. Advance tickets, £5, family ticket £20 (2 adults and up to 3 children), On the door, £5.50, family £22.
