SAFFRON Walden Camera Club’s annual exhibition of photograpgs runs in the town library from October 11 to November 7.
The exhibition is selected from members’ entries into the club’s annual competition which is judged by an independent judge.
Newer members of the club were very successful this year with the black and white category being won by Geoff Payne, the colour print section by Les Dobson and the portrait section by Robert Gould. The other trophies, for digital images and the portfolio section, were won by the club’s competition secretary Clive Downes.
All of the winning pictures and those receiving second, third and highly commended awards are on display as well as a selection from the other entries.
The subject matters of the photographs is very wide and includes portraits, landscapes, natural history and contemporary photos.
The club’s website, swcamclub.org, contains a gallery of all of the entries to the annual competition as well as more information on the club’s activities and contact details for enquiries and questions.
