BUDDING young actors have taken to the stage in two summer productions.

Student of all ages from Pure Rhythm School of Performing Arts in Saffron Walden honed their skills and developed ideas for the performances – a musical version of Snow White and the A-Z of musicals.

Sarah Lane directed both productions, while some of the former students of the school returned to help backstage.

Principal Sue Raven said: “They had an amazing two weeks. It’s not just about the final performance but the journey they take and all that they learn and experience getting there.

Meanwhile, Pure Rhythm has announced that two of its students are off to full time vocation schools this month. Amelia Glydon is going to Tiffany Theatre College and Georgie Parry is off to Tring Park School for The Performing Arts.

“It’s a very exciting time for them and all of us at Pure Rhythm looks forward to watching out for them in the future,” added Ms Raven.
